Pure Tallow (with calendula)

This is a fresh batch of pure tallow with homegrown calendula. Here on our small farm, calendula grows abundantly, and not because of anything I'm doing! Because of our mild climate here in the northwest, when calendula goes to seed those seeds stay dormant and alive through winter and sprout up everywhere come spring. Every nook and cranny of my garden has calendula starts in all shapes and sizes bursting in orange fiery circles. All that to say, because I can grow this powerhouse medicinal plant so well here, calendula will be a main source of botanical for Hens and Honey Soap.

Calendula is well known for its calming properties, making it ideal for:

• Dry, irritated skin
• Skin that needs gentleness, not stimulation
• Excellent for babies or those with the most sensitive skin

Ingredients: 100% Gras-fed, pastured tallow, lye, water, homegrown calendula.

These bars are offered in two sizes. Large (4.2 Oz), small (3.2 Oz). The smaller size fits perfect in our vintage glass pyrex soap dish or wooden soap dish, and the larger size fits perfect in our metal soap dish.
