Indigo Spearmint

One of my favorite natural colorants to work with is indigo. You don’t see many naturally grown things shades of blue, and when you do, they seem especially special. But did you know that indigo plants start out green? When they go through the crushing, and fermenting process is when they turn blue.

This bar reminds me of a cloudy night sky lit up by the moon. Maybe it should be called Indigo Sky? This is one of my current favorites and I know you’ll like it too. Refreshing and great lather. 🧼 

It often seems that indigo transforms in front of your eyes. I scented this bar with spearmint. A sweeter, less intense cousin of peppermint. 

Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, high-oleic sunflower oil, almond oil, indigo, lye, water, spearmint essential oil.
