This 100% tallow soap is made with a full replacement of oregon coast ocean water. We gathered to water ourselves in Garibaldi Oregon, filtered it through cheesecloth, and made soap with it while it was cold and fresh.
Tallow closely resembles the fatty acid in human skin. Especially stearic and palmitic acids. This makes tallow soap great for locking in moisture, repairing skin, and feels rich and conditioning without feeling greasy. It's perfect for dry hands, elbows, feet, and cracked skin.
Adding in ocean water adds even more benefits. Sea water isn't just salty, it contains minerals and electrolytes dissolved in a natural balance. It includes magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, and small amounts of zinc and selenium. When you use ocean water in soap you are including this whole mineral profile, not just a single ingredient.
The minerals in ocean water also help make soap harder and longer lasting. Salt is a natural hardener for soap products.
